About the Author
Meg Winikates is a compulsive collector of the interesting and random, whether information, objects, or ideas. She is currently Program Specialist for the Art and Nature Center at the Peabody Essex Museum. Her most recent other museum experience was three years as Associate Education Director for The Discovery Museums in Acton, MA. Her assorted other past jobs include interpretive ranger for Longfellow National Historic Site, museum teacher for the Paul Revere House, 7th grade English teacher at Boston Latin School, and kindergarten teacher at the International School of Brussels.
